2月26日至3月1日，來(lái)自德國(guó)的國(guó)際脊柱大師丹尼爾·羅森塔爾教授到訪位于海上和平女神媽祖故里——莆田的莆田學(xué)院附屬醫(yī)院擔(dān)任客座教授一周。羅森塔爾教授是德國(guó)巴德洪堡高陶努斯醫(yī)院脊柱外科主任，曾在2013年擔(dān)任德國(guó)脊柱學(xué)會(huì)（DWG）主席。他在胸腔鏡脊柱手術(shù)方面，他有極大的成就，到2023年為止，他個(gè)人已完成4000余例胸腔鏡脊柱手術(shù)。他此次到訪的莆田學(xué)院附屬醫(yī)院微創(chuàng)脊柱外科是“福建省骨科脊柱疾病微創(chuàng)診療與康復(fù)臨床醫(yī)學(xué)研究中心”，長(zhǎng)期致力于脊柱微創(chuàng)、數(shù)字化設(shè)計(jì)、3D打印技術(shù)、人工智能、骨科機(jī)器人等技術(shù)，擁有特色鮮明、理念先進(jìn)的國(guó)內(nèi)一流、福建省領(lǐng)軍的微創(chuàng)脊柱外科團(tuán)隊(duì)。訪問(wèn)一周內(nèi)，他與脊柱微創(chuàng)團(tuán)隊(duì)參與門診、查房、手術(shù)指導(dǎo)、手術(shù)實(shí)操、重點(diǎn)疑難病例討論、大師公開(kāi)課等學(xué)術(shù)交流活動(dòng)。同時(shí)，他還分享了德國(guó)脊柱學(xué)會(huì)（DWG）培養(yǎng)脊柱?？漆t(yī)生的前沿經(jīng)驗(yàn)，為中國(guó)醫(yī)院培養(yǎng)脊柱專科人才提供借鑒與創(chuàng)新思路。訪問(wèn)的最后一天，當(dāng)?shù)仉娨暸_(tái)為他做了專訪，他分享到微創(chuàng)脊柱技術(shù)的發(fā)展已有30年的歷史，隨著新型手術(shù)器械的開(kāi)發(fā)，脊柱外科醫(yī)生的不斷創(chuàng)新與發(fā)展新的手術(shù)技術(shù)，微創(chuàng)脊柱技術(shù)也一直保持動(dòng)態(tài)發(fā)展，未來(lái)虛擬現(xiàn)實(shí)(VR)、人工智能(AI)以及機(jī)器人等技術(shù)能夠更加推動(dòng)脊柱外科手術(shù)往更加微創(chuàng)化發(fā)展。而莆田學(xué)院附屬醫(yī)院微創(chuàng)脊柱外科擁有先進(jìn)的設(shè)備、經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的人才儲(chǔ)備，定是推動(dòng)中國(guó)脊柱微創(chuàng)事業(yè)發(fā)展的一股強(qiáng)勁力量，他期待未來(lái)能親見(jiàn)該院脊柱微創(chuàng)團(tuán)隊(duì)的成長(zhǎng)。臨別之際，羅森塔爾教授表示學(xué)術(shù)交流從來(lái)都是互相的，他也滿載而歸，收獲了新的知識(shí)，新的友誼。他還特別感謝康明強(qiáng)院長(zhǎng)、林海濱書記、戴建輝主任以及脊柱微創(chuàng)團(tuán)隊(duì)這一周的盛情招待，讓他體驗(yàn)了莆田當(dāng)?shù)孛朗撑c游神風(fēng)俗。這是一次難忘的莆田之行。

From February 26 to March 1, Dr. Daniel Rosenthal, an international spine master from Germany, visited the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University which locates in Putian, the hometown of the Goddess of the Sea, Mazu, as a visiting professor for one week. Dr. Rosenthal is the Head of the Section of Spine Surgery in Regional Hospital Bad Homburg, and once served as the President of German Spine Society(DWG) in 2013. He had great achievements in thoracoscopic spine surgery, and he personally has performed around 4000 thoracoscopic spine surgeries by 2023. The Department of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery of the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University is the "Clinical Medical Research Center for Minimally Invasive Diagnosis, Treatment and Rehabilitation of Spinal Diseases in Fujian Province". It has long been committed to minimally invasive techniques for spinal diseases, digital design, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, robotic orthopedic surgery and other techniques, and owns the domestic first-class and provincial-level leading minimally invasive spine surgery team of distinctive features and advanced concepts. During the one-week visit, Dr. Rosenthal and the minimally invasive spine surgery team participated in academic exchange activities such as outpatient consultation, ward rounds, surgical guidance, surgical practice, key and complex case discussion, and master’s public lectures. At the same time, he also shared the advanced experience of the German Spine Society (DWG) in training spine specialists, which provides reference and inspirations for Chinese hospitals to train spine specialists. On the last day of the visit, he was interviewed by a local TV station and shared that minimally invasive spine surgery technique has been developed for over 30 years, and with the invention of new surgical instruments, and spine surgeons continue to innovate and develop new surgical techniques, the minimally invasive spine surgery technique has been in a dynamic development, and that in the future, technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotics can make the spine surgery more minimally invasive. The Department of MISS of Affiliated Hospital of Putian University, with its advanced equipment and an experienced team, will be a strong force to promote the development of minimally invasive spine surgery in China, and he is looking forward to seeing the growing of this team. At the time of parting, Dr. Rosenthal said that academic exchanges are always mutual, and he also derives experience and friendship before his return. He also thanked President KANG Mingqiang, Party Secretary LIN Haibin, Director DAI Jianhui and the minimally invasive spine surgery team for their hospitality during the week, and for having the opportunity to sample the local cuisine and experience the custom of Putian. It was an unforgettable visit to Putian.
