3月22日下午無錫市第九人民醫(yī)院脊柱外科張樹軍主任團(tuán)隊特邀世界脊柱腫瘤第一人Boriani教授參加中歐脊柱腫瘤視頻會議。整場國際盛宴也與國內(nèi)同道進(jìn)行了線上分享。無錫市第九人民醫(yī)院副院長糜菁熠教授、脊柱外科主任張樹軍教授為大會致辭。Boriani教授現(xiàn)任博洛尼亞大學(xué)骨科研究生課程脊柱外科教授、是意大利博洛尼亞里佐利骨科研究所脊柱腫瘤與退行性脊柱外科前主任，原發(fā)性腫瘤的原始分期系統(tǒng)——WBB系統(tǒng)創(chuàng)始人。本次會議Boriani教授介紹到博洛尼亞大學(xué)是西方世界最古老的大學(xué)之一，創(chuàng)立于公元1088年，2023年有96,984名學(xué)生，3,382名教職人員，有2020個研究項目在大學(xué)開展；而博洛尼亞大學(xué)骨外科學(xué)院就坐落于里佐利骨科研究所——意大利第一家骨科醫(yī)院。它的歷史最早可追溯到公元4世紀(jì)，在1896年，由一座古老的修道院改建而成。現(xiàn)有344張床位，約1400名員工，每年完成15,000臺骨科手術(shù)。Boriani教授的導(dǎo)師Campanacci教授是世界聞名科學(xué)家和骨科外科醫(yī)生，是骨腫瘤方面的國際權(quán)威。他的著作《骨與軟組織腫瘤》收錄了自1905年來超2萬骨與軟組織腫瘤病例，是學(xué)習(xí)骨腫瘤的必讀書籍。1984年在Campanacci教授的鼓勵下，Boriani教授開始專注于脊柱腫瘤的研究和臨床工作。隨后，Boriani教授以《脊柱轉(zhuǎn)移瘤治療的流程圖 - 用于日常實踐的簡易工具》為題，詳細(xì)介紹了里佐利骨科研究所治療脊柱轉(zhuǎn)移瘤的流程圖，并結(jié)合幾例病例簡單明了地講解了如何在臨床實踐中運用此流程圖。而后張樹軍主任用流利的全英文分享《UBE技術(shù)在髓外硬膜下腫瘤切除中的應(yīng)用》。學(xué)術(shù)演講完畢，中意雙方全英進(jìn)行熱烈討論，Boriani教授也對張主任團(tuán)隊在運用UBE技術(shù)治療脊柱腫瘤的創(chuàng)新上表示贊揚。并且期待未來能與他優(yōu)秀的團(tuán)隊進(jìn)行更加深入的學(xué)術(shù)交流。這是江蘇省首家真正意義上正式專業(yè)開展脊柱腫瘤的脊柱外科，未來脊柱腫瘤病人只需在無錫市第九人民醫(yī)院脊柱外科即可接受專業(yè)臨床治療。

On the afternoon of March 22nd, the team of ZHANG Shujun, Director of the Department of Spine Surgery of Wuxi Ninth People's Hospital, invited Prof. Boriani, the world-class master on spine tumor, to participate in the Sino-Euro Video Conference on Spine Tumor and to interact with Chinese colleagues online. Prof. MI Jingyi, Vice President of Wuxi Ninth People's Hospital, and Prof. ZHANG Shujun, Director of Department of Spine Surgery, delivered welcome speeches for the conference. Prof. Boriani is Professor of Spine Surgery, Post-graduate Program of Orthopedics of the University of Bologna at Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute and Past Head of Unit of Spine Oncology and Degenerative Surgery at Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute. He is the author of original staging systems for primary tumors, well known as WBB. During the conference, Prof Boriani introduced that the University of Bologna is considered as one of the most ancient universities in the Western world, which was founded in A.D. 1088. It has 96,984 students in 2023, 3,382 members of the teaching staff and 2,020 undergoing research projects; and that the University of Bologna School of Orthopedics is located at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute - the first Orthopedic Italian Institution. It dates back to the 4th century AD and was rebuilt from an ancient monastery in 1896. Currently it has 344 beds, around 1,400 staff and performs 15,000 orthopaedic surgeries per year. Prof. Campanacci, the mentor of Prof. Boriani, was an outstanding scientist and orthopaedic surgeon and was an international authority on bone tumors. He collected more than 20,000 bone and soft tissue tumor cases since 1905 and documented them into a book - Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors, which is a must read for those who study bone tumors.  In 1984, with the encouragement of Prof. Campanacci, Prof. Boriani started his professional life dedicated to the research and clinical work on bone tumors of the spine. After the introduction, Prof. Boriani delivered a lecture titled “The Flow Chart for the Treatment of Spine Metastases - An easy tool for daily practice”, introducing how they treat spine metastases at Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute, and explained clearly how to use this flowchart in clinical practice by showing some cases. After that, Director ZHANG Shujun shared a lecture, "UBE Technique for the Resection of Intradural Extramedullary Tumors" in English. After the academic lectures, the two sides actively discussed with each other in English, and Prof. Boriani also congratulated Director Zhang's team for their innovation in the use of UBE technique in the treatment of spine tumors. And he is looking forward to more in-depth academic exchanges with his great team in the future. This is the first Department of Spine Surgery in Jiangsu Province that truly starts providing medical treatment for patients with spinal tumors, and in the future these patients could receive professional medical treatment in the Department of Spine Surgery at Wuxi Ninth People's Hospital.
