Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite you to the 24th European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ECTES) in Aachen in 2025. With our motto “United diversity- facing the challenges of the future together”, we want to underline the common goal of trauma and emergency surgeons within ESTES to promote interest, knowledge and quality of care in emergency and trauma surgery.

Beside key note lectures from internationally renowned experts, much room will be given for the presentation of submitted abstracts. Apart from clinical studies, we particularly encourage the presentation of results from basic science trials. The program will also include practical skill stations, live surgery, lunch symposia and courses. Thereby, we hope to stimulate a vivid interdisciplinary discussion over the entire breadth of topics in the field of trauma and emergency surgery.

Due to its history and location in the border triangle, Germany - the Netherlands - Belgium, Aachen has been always a place of European cohabitation and collaboration, values which clearly mirror the mission of ESTES!
