想起2004年從香港飛莫斯科，一起飛聽到廣播找醫(yī)生，我立馬找空乘，我們有六位頂級專家可為病人提供幫助，乘務(wù)長拿出精致手提箱，里面有各種急救藥品，我馬上讓專家即刻到位，半小時分分鐘搞定，否則飛機(jī)將飛回香港，機(jī)上響起雷鳴般的掌聲。我為我的工作特別自豪，救人生命的工作如此神圣。我在飛機(jī)上跑前跑后，所有乘客都給我行注目禮。我曾從羅馬回來的飛機(jī)上讓我們隨行的專家救過一個意大利人，從廣州飛迪拜的飛機(jī)上讓隨行專家救過一個迪拜人，病人剛在廣東省人民醫(yī)院做完心臟手術(shù)。情況非常危險。都是我們的專家在萬里高空分分鐘輕松擺平的。最后空姐拿了頭等艙最精美的餐飲給專家們當(dāng)宵夜。2007年在法國奧朗日，身后是公元25年建立的世界上最古老的凱旋門。我與方子從廣州只身飛住巴黎。去接從羅馬飛來巴黎的一個教授，他也是世界上很著名的一家醫(yī)院院長。我們?nèi)藦陌屠柩刂樟_旺斯和蔚藍(lán)海岸一路前行。工作的意義是什么？工作的意義與金錢權(quán)力沒有什么關(guān)糸，工作的意義是我們可以為這個世界帶來價值。

I remember in 2004 when I was on a flight from Hong Kong to Moscow, as soon as the plane took off, I heard the announcement of seeking for a doctor. Then I reached a flight attendant right away since I was with six top medical specialists who could help the patient. The Chief Attendant took out a delicate suitcase with all kinds of first-aid supplies in it. I brought our specialists to the patient immediately and they handled with the emergency within only half an hour, otherwise, the plane would head back to Hong Kong. After that, the plane burst into thunderous applause. I am very proud of my job because it's a sacred occupation that can save people's life. I went around on the plane and all the passengers saluted me with eyes. Once, when I was on a plane from Rome to China, I asked the specialists with me to save an Italian patient. And on another flight from Guangzhou to Dubai, the specialists with me saved a patient from Dubai who just underwent a cardiac surgery at Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital and was in a critical condition. And our specialists solved the emergencies quickly ten thousand miles aloft. Finally, the flight attendant got the finest food of first class for our specialists as night snack. In 2007, I was in Orange, France. Behind me was the Triumphal Arch with the longest history from 25 AD. Helen and I flew from Guangzhou to Paris to pick up a professor from Rome, the president of a world-renowned hospital. Three of us went all the way from Paris along Provence and French Riviera. What is the meaning of work? It has nothing to do with money or power. The meaning of work is that we can bring value to this world.
