你知道嗎，這幾天我的家鄉(xiāng)發(fā)生了巨大的災難。3000名消防隊員到山上救火，車輛無法行駛上山。老百姓便主動自發(fā)集結(jié)，幾千人用最原始最古老最艱難的方式加入送餐大軍，每人每次背50斤的食物，在60度的崎嶇山路上騎行或步行。連西南大學的美國專家都加入了上山送物資的大軍，每天頂著46度的高溫，4天3夜，不眠不休，一邊是火海，一邊是人墻。如此壯觀，讓人落淚。

I am not sure if you have heard about the huge disaster in my hometown. On Aug 21st, wildfires rage as Chongqing suffers an unrelenting record heat wave. There are 3000 firefighters battling the raging fire on the mountain, but the vehicles are not able to go up the mountain. The locals gathered spontaneously. Thousands of people delivered supplies in the most primitive, ancient and difficult way. Each of them carried 25kg of supplies each time and climbs or rides on the rugged mountains of around 60 degrees. Even the U.S. expert from Southwest University joined. Under the heat of 46 degrees, for 4 days and 3 nights without rest or sleeping. It is a sea of fire on one side and a human wall on the other. It's so spectacular and touchingly tearful.

1.5萬人撲向火海，大火不滅我不回家。美國山火79天撲滅。澳洲山火210天撲滅。中國山火4天撲滅。美國為什么會如此懼怕中國？每當國難當頭之時，只有中國人可以為了國家貢獻一切，父親是重慶人，他參加了抗日戰(zhàn)爭，當年350萬四川軍人誓死抵抗日寇，只有13.5萬人回家。父親就是這13.5萬人之一。父親離開我們已經(jīng)整整24年了，我每天都在想念他。但這24年來每月1號國家會自動把撫恤金打到我媽媽的卡上。1982年我的祖國還很貧困，但中國水電八局卻為父親治病16年，期間花費了數(shù)百萬元。這就是我深愛的祖國，值得我一生牽掛。

15,000 people rushed into the sea of fire, and they will not go home until the fire is extinguished. The wildfires in the U.S. took 79 days to put out. The Wildfires in Australia took 210 days to put out. Whereas in China, we spent 4 days? Why is the U.S. so afraid of China? Whenever the country is faced with imminent crisis, only the Chinese can contribute everything to the country. My father was a Chongqing local. He was part of the war of resistance against Japanese aggression. At that time, 3.5 million Sichuan soldiers fought to the death to resist the Japanese invaders. Only 135,000 of them returned home. My father was one of those 135,000 people. It has been 24 years since my father left us. I miss him every day. For 24 years, his pension is transferred to my mother’s account on the 1st of every month.In 1982, my motherland was still very poor, but the Sino-hydro Bureau spent millions of yuan on my father's medical treatment for 16 years. This is my beloved motherland, which deserves my lifelong care and affection.

But up to now, I haven't done anything for my country. I am wholeheartedly grateful for this.

中國應該可以成為德國永遠的朋友。這個古老的東方大國已在地球上屹立不倒5000年，我們只花了近百年時間把一個半殖民地半封建的國家變成了世界第二大經(jīng)濟體。我只知道：未來只有中國才是世界的希望。我哪兒都不想去，我只想在這里孤獨終老，青山綠水，后會有期。我不能永遠年輕，但我可以終生美麗。一個國家科技發(fā)達，醫(yī)學昌明，教育普及，人民安居樂業(yè)，自由法制這才重要。

China should be able to be Germany's eternal friend. This ancient Oriental power has stood on the earth for more than 5000 years. It only took us nearly a hundred years to turn a semi-colonial and semi-feudal country into the second largest economy in the world. All I know is that only China is the hope of the world in the future. I will not go to anywhere, what I want is to spend the rest of my life here. With all these green hills and blue waters, we shall meet here again some day. No one will be forever young, but I can be beautiful all my life. For a country, the most important thing is to have advance technology, well-developed medicine and popularized education, and that people live in peace and contentment, and that the society is free, under a nomocracy.
